Tuesday we decided to take the Copenhagen Canal Tour, which was really fun. It was great to see the city from the water. It left from Nyhavn and wound around for about an hour.
We had to "mind our heads" under many low, narrow bridges...
This was once the home of the Scandinavian Stock Exchange. The twisty part are dragon tails -- not businessmen slithering down the spire as I thought on first glance!
From the water we were able to see the Vor Frelsers Kirke spire really well (note the climber at the very tippy top -- Joe and I stood there, too!):
(The moon walker-looking guy is Jesus.)
One week remaining in our vacation... It has been a lot of fun posting our progress on this blog. Thank you all for your comments. It is great to know you are enjoying seeing Copenhagen, too!
