Last night, following a birthday party in Los Gatos, Nia & I drove up to Skyline to spend the night at George's in anticipation of Dale & Angela's arrival later that night. It was our first time spending the night on Skyline just for fun (we stayed for a few weeks during George's post-operation recovery back in February). It was a great little trip and we had a lovely day hanging out all day today, just relaxing.... just what a summer Sunday should be: family, swimming, tree-climbing, gardening, BBQing, dogs, biking (or "tricing")... Later, we drove home (to Nia's extreme disappointment) and Nia crashed out 2 blocks from our house at 7:30p -- a good 3 hours earlier than normal lately. Going to bed dirty with chlorine hair and sun-kissed cheeks, now that's summer!
Pilot Dale and Pilot Nia and the 30-year-old Tonka planes from the toy box. It is fun watching Nia enjoy the toys I remember enjoying so well!
