We are off to Tahoe tonight for a week-long vacation from... well, everything! This is our first trip since the diagnosis (which came one-week after we returned from my birthday trip to Tahoe, incidentally).
This trip means loosing myself in a novel, a return to the kitchen and cooking (this is a good thing), playing in the lake, hiking and splendid views, lake-side dinning, games, art projects, movies... *sigh*
I NEED this.
