My little one is on her way to her first SC Derby Girls bout (superhero theme) tonight! I love that my four-year-old has Saturday night plans that involve satin, glitter, sequins, and make-up. Not to mention flashing lights, loud music, and screaming fans -- and going out by herself with friends (although, as grown up as she seems, she still has to take her car seat with her!). (Meanwhile I'm in pjs, curling up with my laptop to catch up on some overdue work. Hmmm.)
